The FSF is not without vast immediate needs that would enhance and sustain its social enterprise toward community development. While it takes cash to care, in this case it may well take equipment to escape the harsh realities of nothingness in the community of Gregory Park.
Currently the FSF is doing a cost and needs assessment and though not completed, it is estimated that seven million Jamaican dollars could set the pace for growth and sustainability. This does not include the added need for capacity building where possible. The estimated seven million dollars would cover equipment in the core areas of training and daily operations. With a fully boosted FSF an estimated 300 most-at-risk youth could be meaningfully engaged and empowered each year.
